Swami Vivekananda is one of the most admired spiritual leaders of India. The world knows him as an enlightened monk, philosopher, social reformer, educationist, a prolific writer and an orator per excellence. Though much discussions has been done on his philosophical and educational works, there are a few works that specifically try to analyse and understand Vivekananda as a world leader. Author Pranay's latest work 'Vivekananda' minutely analyzes the life and works of Swamiji to understand his leadership qualities and present the useful insights for everyone to learn and apply in their daily lifestyle.

Divided in 21 chapters, the work beautifully presents the various leadership qualities of Swami Vivekananda. It talks about Swamiji's openness of thought that was not limited to any particular ideology. The book also discusses in detail about Swamiji's qualities of courage, faith and strength that made him a Vishwa Guru and helped him spread his message to the entire world. He qualities made him a perennial favourite among a cross section of readers – Men, Women and Youth. And which remains new with every read, year after year with all thoughts and messages for humanity. These thoughts are still relevant for discussion. He was the master of the words. One can get fresh energy after reading his beautiful and enthusiastic writings. He discovered many new ideas in his life. He brought revolution in our life through his each and every word. Probably thats why S.P. Sabharwal said about Swami Vivekananda, “Bloodshed is not only a means of revolution. What I loved the most is the way Author Pranay has presented the insights sequentially. The use of right words and expressions provides a great experience. The chapters are short but filled with great insights which anyone can go through and apply to improve their lives.

Overall, it was a great experience going through this excellent work. I highly recommend this book to everyone and give it 4 stars for the content, writing style and overall presentation.
