I am your amigo Animesh and today I am gonna give you guys Six useful tips which will help you develop your reading habits, control your stress level and most importantly, enable you to keep a perfect balance between your studies and book-reading.So, without further ado, lets get started.
So, the very important Tip no-1
Prepare a routine of your everyday works. It will serve many purposes, First of all, your life will be more organized. Secondly, it will reduce your stress level as you will be able to map your daily progress. Thirdly, you will actually get much more time to relax. And believe it or not, when I take a break after an hour or two of continuous work, it feels really amazing.
Now, Tip no- 2
While preparing the routine, make sure not to make it messy. Don't add a huge number of work in every half an hour time, it will create a chaos and you will find it really hard to follow the routine properly for long.
The Most Important Tip No- 3
Don't ever allot the peak hours of the day for book reading.Let me give you an example. Suppose, you feel more energetic and concentrated in the morning, then use it for your daily study, homework, projects etc.Give more times on things which demand your undivided attention like Maths, Science etc. Try to use your spare time for book reading. It may be after you return from your school or college, or an hour or two at night. It will help you utilize your full energy.
Tip no-4
Don't allot more than two hours continuously for book reading or review.It may be possible that you loose interest. If you are a beginner, I would recommend you to start with half an hour and then increase your reading time gradually.
My favorite tip no-5
Give yourself a reward. Suppose, you can say to yourself, Hello Mr./Miss____________, today we will together solve all the problems of this particular chapter or today we will write a 3 page notes, and If I complete the challenge, I will spend the next one hour reading my favourite book.
Tip no- 6
Take a break on sundays and don't read any book.Then start again from monday. I know it sounds odd but it really works. Also, try to read books on different genres. It helps a lot in keeping one's interest in book reading.
