Kaleidoscope of Love is a collection of 10 light-hearted short stories radiates myriad shades of love. This short story collection has truly touched my heart. Any work of fiction attains universality when it offers the readers a chance to associate their lives with the characters of the stories and thats what makes these stories so pleasing to read.
I enjoyed the book because it is not the typical melodramatic love of bollywood films but the love that helps you understand the life in a better way. I particularly appreciate the way the author has started every story. The stories are rich in assamese flavour which provides a breath of fresh air. This is a collection that shakes our deepest emotions, inspire us and give us hope for a better future.
I particularly like the first story "Face in the Mirror" the most which narrates Ramen's pitiful condition in the selfish human society and his subsequent discovery of the true love.
Favourite Line-
"The reality of today's world is that only love and sacrifice can make a marriage work. And if you can find someone who possess those qualities then you are lucky"
Recommendation- I recommend this collection to everyone who prefers light love stories.
