Title: The Complete OPOS Cookbook: One-Pot Meal Plans Ready in 10 Minutes
Author: B. Ramakrishnan
Publisher: HarperCollins India
Format: Paperback
Genre: Cookbook/Lifestyle
Rating: 4/5 stars

In his latest work renowned chef, consultant and columnist B. Ramakrishnan sir has shared his OPOS cooking techniques. The acronym OPOS stands for One Pot One Shot. Its a set of scientific healthy cooking techniques that will help you cook confidently in insanely less amount of time. People all over the world are gradually shifting towards healthy cooking alternatives and the OPOS technique is one of those truly effective and innovative ways you can apply on your cooking. All you need is just one pot to create the magic. With the use of standardized equipmemts (Pressure Baker, gas/induction stove) and proper recipes anyone can be a chef and cook the food of their choice in minutes.

I personally loved this OPOS technique which is healthy, economical, fast and flexible. It provides a freedom to cook and explore in your own style. Divided in 6 sections the book offers step by step guide on the preparation of ingredients, benefits of the particular foods and how we can solve any problems during cooking. From Kerala Aviyal and Tamil Kootu to Odiya Besara and Bengali Dalna, you will find most of the Indian recipes in this work. Probably what makes this particular interesting is the huge variety in food and the scope for experimentation offered in this work.

Overall, it was a great read. I highly recommend this book to all those who shares a passion for cooking. I give it 4.5 stars for the innovative thought, content and overall presentation.

Happy Reading
