Fascinating, entertaining and utterly hilarious, Author Sahil Rajput's second novel 'Oh Shit! I am Hitched' is a tale of friendship, separation and love. The story revolves around Chiraj Rajput, a young boy from the exotic land of Jammu who has just started his journey in computer Science at a prestigious college. There he meets Pallavi and instantly feel mesmerized by her charm. As their friendship grows Chiraj falls in love with her and now he is trying his level best to win her over. But little did he know, their different castes will rise as a villain and shatter his dreams into million pieces. This is Chiraj's story of friendship and love, its his journey against all odds to be with his love Pallavi and I am sure you will be fall in love with the story.
The first thing I liked is the storyline. The author has tried to explore the genre of love and I have enjoyed going through it. As far as its presentation is concerned, it is done equally good. There is not doubt that author Sahil Rajput is a master storyteller and one can actually find it in the way he has beautifully weaved the story with elements of fun and suspense. I particularly enjoyed Chirag's hostel life and his friendship with Bhanu and Raman. As a hosteller myself, I felt a connection with Chirag and his problems in hostel life.
Overall, it was a good experience. I give this work 3.5 stars for the storyline, narration and overall presentation and recommend it to everyone.
