Siddharth Chowdhury's latest work takes us on an exciting journey into the 'goldfish bowl of the New Delhi Publishing World'. Through his excellent writing style and narration, Chowdhury has provided the readers an opportunity to peep into the inner world of Publishing. What I particularly loved in this work is the way the author has presented the whole story in a simple but engaging manner. Its a short novel of less than 150 pages but the way it captures the little details of publishing industry and grab the attention of the readers through its superb narration is truly fantastic. There is no denying the fact that Chowdhury is a keen observer as its very much evident in the narration. Each and every little scene and characters has been created with utmost care and attention.
The story introduces us with John Nair, the managing editor of the publishing house 'Peacock India' who has thrown a grand party on the occasion of a book launch. All the giant literary figures are there at the party. But when suddenly he discovers an old friend and Bard Ritwik Ray, all his happines evaporates into thin air.
To know what happens next you have to go through this exciting work. Chowdhury's works has an unique magic in them which gradually uncover itself as the story moves further.I have utterly enjoyed going through this brilliant work of fiction and highly recommend it to all. I give it 4 stars for the brilliant writing style, witty humor and narration and for the overall presentation.
Happy Reading
