Title- Mapping Love
Author- Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari
Publisher- Rupa Publications
Genre- Fiction
Rating- 5/5 stars

Enlighting, enthralling and artistically weaved, author Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari's maiden work 'Mapping Love' is a soul satisfying paean to faith and love. The story traces the life of Oorja Chaturvedi as she returns to her ancestral roots at Lucknow from the distant land of USA, carrying all the scars of past relationships and the precious memories of the world she created once with her late mother, free from the constraints of rules, demands and meaningless expectations. All those moments of little joys she shared with her mother, inspired her all these years to reach to the acme of success. At those rare moments of freedom with her mother, she used to feel a sense of calmness and oneness, which unfortunately, she never felt with her father or anyone else in the world. The situation takes a drastic turn when, upon reaching Lucknow she receives the shocking news of her father sudden disappearance.

Will she be able to meet her father again? What would be his reaction on meeting his daughter after so many years?

To get the answers you have to go through this amazing work. The first thing I Ioved the most about this work is the way author has explored the different phases of love and relationship. Her mastery over language is evident from the way she has explored the boundaries of human emotions and the intricacies of human relationships with an ease and simplicity through the magic of her writing. Besides, her unique way of blending the past memories through poetry with the present is truly commendable.

The work posseses a soul of its own and to truly enjoy it you have to be part of it's world, and then the book will slowly reveal itself. Packed with internal tension, flashbacks and self-exploration, the book promises to impart an aesthetic experience to the readers. 'Mapping Love' is an emotional tale that will leave you with a bag full of mixed emotions and it will make you analyse yourself.

I have truly enjoyed going through this inspiring work. I give it full 5 stars for the writing style, narration and the overall presentation and highly recommend it to everyone.

Happy Reading
