My Thoughts
Ruskin Bond is a master storyteller. In this memoir he has shared his school days at The Bishop Cotton School in Shimla and how the year 1947 left a huge impact in his life. As the book is written keeping in my the child readers, the language is simple but effective and through the telling of his life story the author has tried to inculcate some good habits into the tender minds of the child readers, habits like, Get up early in the morning, morning exercise, Reading books and Using the Library, Team work, Playing games like football etc.
It was a very interesting read.I give this book 4.5 stars. If you are searching for a book to give to your child, this book is highly recommended
