Title: Whispering Bricks: Stories of Love, Loss and Friendship from IIMA
Author: Siddhartha Bhasker
Publisher: Fingerprint Publishing
Rating: 4/5 stars

'Whispering Bricks' , a beautiful compilation of fifteen stories by author Siddhartha Bhaskar gives us an inside view of IIM Ahmedabad from the prespective of the 2012-15 batch. You must have heard many success stories from IIM Ahmedabad, but there are some stories which remain untold within the red bricked walls of the Institute. The compilation beautifully presents those stories of love, loss and friendship which we all share in our lives and these stories constitute our identity and our life.

I absolutely loved the way each story presents a distinct side of the life at IIMA. The hope and aspirations, love and loss of the students are presented in such artistic manner that as the story ends it leave us with an unfulfilled desire to know more about the characters. These stories of happiness and pain, love and loss will surely take you back to the days of your college life and as you will filp through the pages, those memories will come alive. I liked the honest and candid nature of the stories and truly each one of the stories give us a message about life. Among these fifteen stories, my personal favourite were 'Reunion', 'Mr. Peace at PGP2', ' Abhi and Rhea' and 'Taxi Driver'.

The way author Siddhartha has compiled these stories truly deserves praise. It took him three years to compile the stories amid his struggle with schizophrenia, and truly he has done a commendable job. I salute his fighting spirit.

Overall, it was a great experience going through this work. I give it 4 stars for the amazing stories, beautiful presentation and for resurfacing the memories of college days. I highly recommend this book.
