What is the origin and forms of 'I' and how does it control the thoughts, actions and our overall personality, that is the fundamental question upon which author Siddharth Tripathy has weaved this phenomenal work. unMIND is a soul-satisfying graphical retelling of the precious and timeless teachings of Sri Ramana Maharshi and his disciple and a great mystic Ramesh Balsekar. The work not only explores the boundaries of self and invite us to ponder over the question who we are, but in this process also present the unique path of self-enquiry, as taught by Sri Ramana Maharshi, as a way to reach to the answer and attain peace, liberty and divine happiness. The author has compiled the most important aspects of Maharshi's teachings with much care and attention.
What I personally loved the most is the way author has presented the teachings in simple and lucid manner while keeping an eye on words and the meaning they convey. Every page presents something new to the readers. I personally find this book very useful and interesting because I myself is an ardent follower of Maharshi's teachings and it feels amazing to go through his teachings in this graphical form. This particular work truly deserves 5 star because both the author and the illustrator has truly done a commendable job in presenting the divine words of these two great mystics in an interesting and unique way. The beautiful illustration coupled with suitable words and narration provides an amazing reading experience. It is my personal request to kindly compile and present the teachings of other great mystics like Paramhansa Yogananda, Telang Swami, Lahiri Mahasaya for the readers and the believers.
Overall, it was a great experience for me to go through this amazing work. I highly recommend this book and give it full five stars for the beautiful narration and overall presentation. Do give it a try, you won't regret.
