" A dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight, and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world"- Oscar Wilde

The story begins with the protagonist Rasiq's arrival in the "Mayanagari" Mumbai, where he is about to start his new life as an Investment Banker at a Multinational company. But little did he realize that his first day at work would be a long unending nightmare.Though gradually he starts assimilating with the work environment, he never felt truly satisfied with his job. So one day he decides to leave his job and plans a really unique startup (Daredreamers) with a group of highly gifted individuals. Now to know what happens next, you have to go through the novel.
The novel is devided into 4 parts where the first part narrates Rasiq's life as an investment banker and his subsequent discovery of the futility of chasing a meaningless goal. The next part begins one year later when he has organized a team of five uniquely talented superheroes to start a resque venture- Daredreamers.

Things I have enjoyed

I have thoroughly enjoyed the book. The short conversation between Rasiq and the tea-seller Gopi is really eye-opening and truly amazing. Rasiq's realtionship with his girlfriend Ruchika and his boss Samar has been portrayed very beautifully and it provides a thumbnail view of how things actually function at the inside of these gaint multinational firms. But the most amazing part is obviously the portrayal of the protagonist's realtionship with his dad. I just loved their conversations throughout the novel. The theme is unique with the simple but engaging writing style. The scenes are written in such detailed and picturesque manner that it gives almost a cinematic experience.

Improvements-

The cover page of the book would have been a bit more interesting. The blurb of the book provides too much information about the story and fails to create the much needed suspense. Also the use of unrealistic names like Halka (perhaps to infuse a tone of similarity with the Avanger Superheroes) dilutes the interest.

Overall, it was an entertaining read.I recommend this book to those who loves to read adventure novels.

Happy Reading
