The first installment of the fantasy series "The Sands of Time", "The Peal of Immortality" by Dublin based author Nishi Singh (popularly known by her penname Nishi Chandermun) is a must read for all the fantasy lovers. The story starts with a prologue at the plannet Ishtar during the age of shadows where The Dark King of Snakes Xul-Nagrah has annihilated everyone except the great dragon rider Zalgarra who is still alive, trying the save the sword of time from the Dark King, but the evil powers of darkness makes him powerless and eventually he face defeat in the battle and died with the hope that someday in the near future a new dragon rider will come to save their plannet from the horrors of the Dark King.

The story then takes us to the ancient city of 18th century Persia where two teenages Xerxes and Kespar accidentally discovers an ancient golden lamp in a shop of magical artifects and with the help of the lamp transported to the plannet Ishtar where Xerxes discovers his new identity of Dragonheart and presented with a five thousand years old ancient dragon with magical abilities to save the planet from the impending death.

To know more you have to go through the novel.

The first thing that I loved the most about the book is the author's writing style and presentation. The narrative follows a systematic order and the character construction is amazing. The novel successfully holds the attention of the readers and provides a great reading experience. The cover image with the black and golden contrast attracts the readers and generates a desire to go through the novel.

Overall it was a great read. I recommend this novel to all the fantasy novels.

Happy Reading
