Book Review: No Limits by Mukesh Bansal

Title- No Limits
Author- Mukesh Bansal
Publisher- Westland Publishers
Genre- Self-Help
Format-Paperback
Year- 2019
Length- 360 pages
Rating- 4.7/5 stars

One of the most successful Tech entrepreneur and marketing geniuses of India, Mukesh Bansal started his quest for the wisdom of human performance optimization in 2007 with the goal of boosting the performance of Indian athletes. In this book he has poured down all the knowledge he gathered in all these years from ancient Indian texts to the latest scientific researches about human productivity and performance. From the physiology of the body to the neuroplasticity of the mind, the book has covered almost all the aspects the readers should know to maximize his/her performance.

Divided in four sections, the book offers a collection of strategies and principles that the author have experimented on his clients over the years. One thing that I loved the most about the book is the way the author has presented the knowledge in a brilliantly systematic manner. By giving the readers a thumbnail view of his journey as a student and later as an entrepreneur, he make the readers feel more connected with the text and that in turns, create a desire to learn from him. The main idea it offers is that talent is not something innate, rather anyone can achieve it through hardwork.

The book is indeed very well-written and well-researched. For instance, the chapter on body covers all the aspects, from the science behind sleep, proper workout techniques to eating and breathing techniques. I must say it is one of the most compact self-help books I have read so far. Moreover, the performance hacks given in between the chapters are very effective.

Apart from Body and mind, the book also focuses on areas such as the beauty of habit, train one's mindset, expanding the horizon of learning new things, unleashing the creative self and last but not the least, it encourages the readers to pursue a noble purpose in life which will provide the necessary push towards attaining perfection.

Lastly, I loved the "No Limits Performance Cheat Sheet" and the "No Limits Toolkit" which helps the reader revise their learning.

The Cover Design by Sourabh Garge is absolutely fantastic.

Overall, I have enjoyed going through the novel and encourage everyone of you to read it. I give this book 4.7 stars for the well-researched content and amazing presentation.

Happy Reading
